Product Details

The NGK (NTK) 24578 oxygen sensor, also called an O2 sensor or exhaust gas oxygen sensor, is an OE identical replacement. It measures the oxygen in the exhaust and sends that signal to the engine computer. The computer uses it to adjust the air/fuel ratio and ignition timing, which supports fuel economy, emissions control and engine performance.

Key Features:

  • Heated, 4-wire design with an OE-type connector. It plugs in directly with no cutting or splicing.
  • Dual-coated platinum element for longevity and fast response time
  • The ceramic sensing element and integrated heater reach operating temperature quickly. This gives faster closed-loop activation and lower cold-start emissions.
  • Corrosion-resistant housing protects the ceramic element from silicone and lead poisoning
  • Porous PTFE filter lets atmospheric oxygen reach the sensor and keeps out water and engine contaminants
  • Built to OE standards and individually tested for quality

Specifications:

  • Thread diameter: 18mm
  • Hex size: 22mm
  • Wire length: approx. 18 in. (457mm)
  • Number of wires: 4
  • Mounting type: Threaded
  • Heated: Yes
  • OEM cross-reference: Subaru 22690AA640
  • UPC: 087295245781

A direct-fit replacement that restores proper air/fuel ratio feedback and helps the vehicle meet emissions requirements.
