Siemens 255-01117 Zone Control Valve Assembly 2-Way Normally Open 1/2" NPT 0.63 Cv

The Siemens Building Technology 255-01117 is a high-quality zone control valve assembly designed for commercial and industrial HVAC applications requiring precise fluid flow control. This ANSI Class 250 rated valve features a 2-way normally open configuration with linear flow characteristics, making it ideal for heating and cooling systems where fail-safe operation is critical.

Key Features:

• 2-way normally open valve design ensures flow in de-energized state for safe operation
• ANSI Class 250 construction provides durability for higher pressure applications
• Linear flow characteristics deliver proportional control across the operating range
• Brass body construction with female NPT threaded connections for corrosion resistance
• 1/2-inch Female NPT connections for standard pipe fitting compatibility
• 0.63 Cv flow coefficient for precise flow rate selection
• 200 N (45 lbf) close-off rating for positive shut-off against system pressure
• Electro-mechanical actuation for reliable, precise control

This valve assembly is commonly used in VAV systems, fan coil units, unit heaters, and other zone control applications where individual space temperature control is required. The normally open configuration makes it particularly suitable for heating applications where valve failure results in continued heat flow for occupant safety.
