Siemens Building Technology 279-05971 Flowrite 2-Way Globe Valve Assembly with Pneumatic Actuator

The Siemens 279-05971 is a professional-grade Flowrite 599 Series pneumatic valve actuator assembly designed for precise flow control in commercial and industrial HVAC applications. This complete valve assembly combines a 3-inch globe valve with a 12-inch pneumatic actuator for reliable operation in hot water, chilled water, and glycol solution systems.

Key Features:

• 2-way normally closed (NC) configuration for fail-safe operation
• 3-inch flanged connections with ANSI Class 125 pressure rating
• 100 Cv flow coefficient for high-capacity applications
• Equal percentage flow characteristic for precise modulating control
• Stainless steel trim construction for superior corrosion resistance and durability
• 12-inch pneumatic actuator with 3/4-inch stroke and 5 psi span
• 3-8 psi spring range for standard pneumatic control systems
• Maximum diaphragm pressure of 35 psi
• Operating temperature range: 25°F to 366°F (-4°C to 186°C)

This valve assembly is ideal for modulating control in heating and cooling systems where accurate flow regulation is essential. The stainless steel trim ensures long-term reliability even in demanding water treatment conditions, while the equal percentage characteristic provides excellent control across a wide range of flow rates. The completely enclosed actuator housing protects internal components from environmental factors, ensuring consistent performance and extended service life.
