This comprehensive kit includes 16 beehive-style valve springs manufactured from corrosion-resistant steel, designed to deliver enhanced performance and durability for high-lift camshaft applications.

Key Specifications:

  • Installed Height: 1.800 inches with 95 psi seat pressure
  • Open Height: 1.200 inches with 300 psi pressure
  • Coil Bind Height: 1.143 inches maximum
  • Outside Diameter: 1.250 inches
  • Inside Diameter: 0.638 inches
  • Single spring design with beehive configuration

Application Notes:

  • Compatible with Melling MTC-7 and MTC-8 performance camshafts
  • Fits in stock location without machine work
  • Ideal for street performance and high-RPM applications

Melling valve springs are precision-engineered to meet or exceed OEM specifications while providing the enhanced spring pressures needed for performance camshafts. The beehive design reduces valvetrain weight and allows for higher engine speeds without valve float, making this kit an excellent choice for street performance and mild racing applications.
