Product Details

The Gates 51717 Premium Modular Coolant Hose is an OEM-quality replacement hose designed for specific vehicle cooling system applications. As part of Gates' industry-leading modular coolant hose line, this hose is engineered to meet or exceed original equipment specifications.

Key Features:

  • EPDM tube construction with synthetic fiber knit reinforcement and heat-resistant EPDM cover
  • Engineered with compounds that resist electrochemical degradation, the leading cause of coolant hose failure
  • Re-engineered materials resist vacuum collapse, eliminating the need for internal springs in many applications
  • May include integrated OE components such as quick-connectors, hose branches, sensors, or restrictors depending on application
  • Temperature range: -40°F to +275°F (-40°C to +135°C)
  • Meets SAE 20R3 EC Class D1 or SAE 20R4 EC Class D1 standards depending on hose diameter
  • Heat and ozone resistant cover for long-lasting durability

Gates recommends replacing hose clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed for optimal performance and leak prevention. This modular hose provides a direct-fit solution that saves time and money compared to visiting an OE dealer for replacement parts.

Purchased tires and paid for 2day shipping. Tires arrived 1week later, called customer service and they returned the 2 day shipping fee with no problems. Overall they handled the issue promptly and I was satisfied

Quick and easy no problems. Had the product in stock.

Love this site

Easy and quick checkout

Honestly ive been out of town for almost 2 weeks and my wife sent me a text saying "what did you buy now" so i know it was delivered.

So far so good, if product is delivered in timely fashion and in good shape, I will be a regular customer :)
