Emerson Flow Control (Alco) 027770 Thermostatic Expansion Valve Body Flange 1/2" x 7/8" ODF Sweat Straight

The Emerson Flow Control (Alco) 027770 is a straight body flange designed for TCL and TCLE series thermostatic expansion valves. This component features 1/2" x 7/8" ODF (Outside Diameter Flare) sweat connections in a straight-through configuration, providing a critical connection point for take-apart expansion valve assemblies used in refrigeration and air conditioning systems.

Key Features:

• Straight-through body flange design for TCL/TCLE valve series
• 1/2" inlet x 7/8" outlet ODF sweat connections
• Compatible with Alco take-apart thermostatic expansion valve systems
• Precision-engineered for HVAC and refrigeration applications
• Allows for field serviceability and component replacement

Alco's take-apart expansion valve design consists of three main components: the power assembly, orifice cage, and body flange. This modular design allows technicians to replace individual components without replacing the entire valve assembly, reducing service costs and downtime. The body flange provides the physical connection to the refrigeration system's copper tubing via sweat (solder) joints while housing the internal valve components.

This component is commonly used in commercial refrigeration, air conditioning systems, heat pumps, and industrial cooling applications where precise refrigerant metering and superheat control are required.
