Amana-Goodman 0130L00003 Low Pressure Switch 55/22 PSI HVAC Safety Control

The Amana-Goodman 0130L00003 is a low pressure safety switch designed to protect air conditioning and refrigeration compressors from damage caused by insufficient refrigerant pressure. This critical component continuously monitors system pressure levels and automatically shuts down the compressor when pressure drops below safe operating thresholds.

Key Features:

• Pressure range: Opens at 22 PSI, closes at 55 PSI for reliable compressor protection
• Prevents compressor damage from running with low refrigerant levels
• Automatic reset functionality for convenient operation
• Durable construction designed for long-term reliability in demanding HVAC applications
• Direct replacement for Amana and Goodman HVAC systems

This low pressure switch serves as an essential safeguard against costly compressor failures by detecting refrigerant leaks or low charge conditions before permanent damage occurs. When refrigerant pressure falls below 22 PSI, the switch immediately breaks the electrical circuit to the compressor, preventing it from running dry. Once pressure is restored to 55 PSI, the switch automatically resets and allows normal operation to resume. Professional installation by a qualified HVAC technician is recommended.
