GPD 1022020 A/C Accumulator Drier

The GPD 1022020 is a direct-fit A/C Accumulator Drier designed to restore proper function to your vehicle's air conditioning system. The accumulator drier is a critical component in an accumulator-style A/C system, responsible for storing excess refrigerant, filtering debris and contaminants, and absorbing moisture that can cause corrosion or system damage.

Key Features:

• Direct-fit OEM-style replacement accumulator drier
• Contains desiccant material to absorb moisture and protect A/C system components
• Filters particulates and debris to prevent compressor and expansion valve damage
• Stores excess liquid refrigerant to protect the compressor from liquid slugging
• Manufactured to meet or exceed original equipment specifications
• Ready to install with no modifications required

It is best practice to replace the accumulator drier any time the A/C system is opened for service, such as during compressor or evaporator replacement, as the desiccant can become saturated with moisture once exposed to the atmosphere. The GPD 1022020 helps ensure a long service life for the entire A/C system.
