Aaon R86790 Probe Flame Sensor 1.75 Inch Deep

The Aaon R86790 is a probe-style flame sensor designed for commercial HVAC applications. This flame sensor is engineered to detect the presence of flame in gas-fired heating equipment, providing critical safety monitoring for Aaon rooftop units and other commercial heating systems.

Key Features:

• Probe-style flame sensing design for reliable flame detection
• 1.75 inch insertion depth for proper flame zone positioning
• Direct OEM replacement for Aaon equipment
• Ensures safe operation by detecting loss of flame conditions
• Designed for commercial-grade HVAC systems

This flame sensor plays a vital role in the safety system of gas-fired heating equipment by continuously monitoring for the presence of flame during burner operation. If flame is not detected, the sensor signals the control system to shut down the gas valve, preventing hazardous conditions. The probe-style design allows for direct insertion into the burner assembly for accurate flame detection.
