Maxitrol R500S-1/2 1/2" Spring Gas Pressure Regulator 800,000 BTU

The Maxitrol R500S-1/2 is a high-capacity spring-loaded gas pressure regulator designed for commercial and industrial applications requiring precise fuel gas pressure control. This 1/2" NPT regulator handles up to 800,000 BTU capacity, making it suitable for medium to large heating equipment, commercial cooking appliances, and industrial burner systems.

Key Features:

• 1/2 inch NPT inlet and outlet connections for standard gas line integration
• Spring-loaded pressure regulation for consistent performance
• 800,000 BTU capacity handles substantial gas flow requirements
• Includes 3-6 inch W.C. (water column) spring for standard pressure applications
• Compatible with R521 relief valve for complete pressure regulation system
• Durable cast aluminum body construction for long service life
• Adjustable outlet pressure for precise system tuning

The R500S series regulators are designed for use with natural gas and LP (propane) applications. The included 3-6" spring provides outlet pressure regulation in the typical range for most commercial heating and cooking equipment. For complete system protection, this regulator should be used in conjunction with the Maxitrol R521 series relief valve, which provides overpressure safety protection downstream.

This regulator is ideal for restaurants, commercial kitchens, boiler systems, rooftop heating units, and other applications where reliable gas pressure control is essential for safe and efficient operation.
