Tecumseh CCH2C Self-Regulating Crankcase Heater 208-277V 32W

The Tecumseh CCH2C is a self-regulating crankcase heater designed to protect hermetic compressors from refrigerant migration and oil dilution during off-cycles. This universal heater features advanced self-regulating heating cable technology that automatically adjusts heat output based on temperature, delivering 32 watts at 50°F and up to 60 watts at 0°F.

Key Features:

• Self-regulating heating cable prevents burnout even when overlapped or closely spaced
• Universal fit for hermetic compressors up to 5 HP with circumference of 40 inches or less
• 208-277V operating voltage for commercial and industrial applications
• 18 AWG stranded copper wire leads for easy hard-wiring installation
• Flexible wrap-around design with lockstrap for secure mounting
• Pre-stripped 28-inch wire leads for simplified connection
• Lightweight design at only 0.5 lbs
• UL and CSA certified for safety and performance

This crankcase heater keeps compressor oil warmer than the coldest part of the refrigeration system, preventing refrigerant from condensing in the crankcase. Ideal for both residential and commercial HVAC/R applications, particularly in systems operating in low ambient temperatures. The self-regulating technology ensures optimal energy efficiency by applying only the required heat to maintain proper oil temperature.
