Utica By Dunkirk 550001516 Draft Inducer Assembly

The Utica By Dunkirk 550001516 is a genuine OEM draft inducer assembly designed for Utica and Dunkirk residential and commercial boilers. This critical component creates and maintains proper draft to safely exhaust combustion gases from the boiler through the venting system.

Key Features:

• Genuine Utica By Dunkirk factory original equipment manufacturer (OEM) part
• Complete inducer assembly includes motor, blower wheel, and housing
• Creates negative pressure to draw combustion air and exhaust flue gases
• Operates during heating cycles to ensure safe and efficient venting
• Designed for direct replacement of failed or worn inducer assemblies
• Ensures proper draft for complete combustion and system safety

The draft inducer assembly is essential for safe boiler operation. It activates at the beginning of each heating cycle to clear any residual combustion gases before ignition, then continues running to provide continuous exhaust of combustion byproducts and supply fresh combustion air. A failing inducer can cause the boiler to shut down or fail to ignite as a safety precaution. When replacing the inducer assembly, it is recommended to also replace the mounting gasket to prevent combustion gas leaks.
