Xylem-Bell & Gossett 1BN326 HFT-15 HVAC Diaphragm Expansion Tank 2 Gallon

The Xylem-Bell & Gossett 1BN326 is a 2-gallon HFT-15 diaphragm expansion tank designed specifically for HVAC hydronic heating and cooling systems. This compact expansion tank features a durable butyl diaphragm that separates the system water from the air charge, preventing waterlogging and ensuring reliable system pressure control.

Key Features:

• 2-gallon capacity ideal for residential and light commercial HVAC applications
• Butyl diaphragm construction provides superior air retention and long service life
• Pre-charged with air for easy installation and immediate operation
• Corrosion-resistant steel shell with powder-coated finish
• 3/4-inch NPT connection for standard system integration
• Operating temperature range suitable for hydronic heating and chilled water systems

Important: This tank is NOT approved for potable (drinking) water applications. It is designed exclusively for closed-loop HVAC heating and cooling systems.

The HFT-15 series expansion tanks help protect hydronic systems from excessive pressure caused by thermal expansion, extending the life of system components and reducing maintenance requirements. The diaphragm design eliminates the need for periodic air charging, making this a maintenance-free solution for pressure control.
