Xylem-Bell & Gossett 1BN320LF PT-30V 14 Gallon Lead-Free Potable Water Expansion Tank

The Xylem-Bell & Gossett 1BN320LF PT-30V is a 14-gallon lead-free potable water expansion tank designed for residential and light commercial domestic water systems. This pre-pressurized tank helps protect water heaters and plumbing systems by absorbing excess pressure caused by thermal expansion when water is heated in a closed system.

Key Features:

• 14-gallon capacity provides adequate expansion volume for typical residential water heating systems
• Lead-free construction meets NSF/ANSI 61 and 372 standards for safe potable water contact
• Butyl diaphragm separates water from pressurized air chamber to prevent waterlogging
• Pre-charged with air for easy installation and immediate use
• Corrosion-resistant liner protects against water quality issues
• 3/4-inch NPT connection for standard plumbing integration
• Complies with thermal expansion requirements in closed-loop water systems

This expansion tank is ideal for installations where backflow preventers, pressure-reducing valves, or check valves create a closed water system. The PT-30V series is engineered for durability and reliable performance in potable water applications, helping to extend the life of water heaters and reduce stress on plumbing fixtures.
