The pump coupler is one of the most frequently replaced components in circulating pump systems. A broken or damaged coupler often indicates that motor mounts have lost resiliency, resulting in shaft misalignment between the motor and pump. When replacing a failed coupler, it is recommended to also inspect and replace motor mounts to ensure proper alignment and prevent premature coupler failure.
