Xylem-Bell & Gossett 108120 Red Ring Monoflo Tee Fitting 1" x 1/2" Copper

The Bell & Gossett 108120 Red Ring Monoflo Tee Fitting is a specialized copper reducing tee designed for hydronic heating systems. This innovative fitting makes it possible to use a single pipe to work as both supply and a return to the main supply line on radiators and baseboard heating units.

Key Features:

• 1 inch sweat x 1 inch sweat x 1/2 inch sweat connection sizes
• Constructed from high-quality copper with solder connections
• Rated for 150 PSI maximum pressure and 300°F maximum temperature
• 2-9/16 inch overall length
• Connects risers to the main and assures proper diversion of water into each heating unit, whether radiator, convector or baseboard
• Made in the United States

Installation Notes:

• One fitting installation is adequate for up-feed radiation
• Two fitting installation should be used when high resistance units are used or units are through a down-feed and require both supply and return risers
• Can be installed at either the return or supply riser or both depending on the pressure drop through the side branch circuit and terminal unit

Red Ring Monoflo fittings can be used for most installations where cast iron or non-ferrous baseboards, free standing radiation, or convectors are installed. This fitting is ideal for simplifying single-pipe hydronic heating system installations while ensuring proper water flow and heat distribution.
