Trane ACT00892 24V 3-Wire HVAC Damper Actuator 12 in-lb Torque

The Trane ACT00892 is a 24-volt, 3-wire modulating damper actuator designed for precise control of HVAC dampers in commercial and residential applications. This reliable actuator delivers 12 inch-pounds of torque, providing sufficient force for controlling zone dampers in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

Key Features:

• 24VAC power supply with 3-wire control for modulating operation
• 12 inch-pounds torque output for positive damper positioning
• Proportional control for precise airflow management
• Durable construction for long service life in HVAC environments
• Compatible with Trane zone control systems and dampers
• Designed for direct-coupled mounting to damper shafts

This actuator is commonly used in zoning applications where precise modulating control of damper position is required to regulate airflow and maintain comfort levels. The 3-wire design allows for proportional control, enabling the actuator to position the damper at any point between fully open and fully closed based on the control signal from the zone control panel or thermostat.
