Schneider Electric VK-7263-203-4-2 Pneumatic Steam Valve Assembly 1/2" NPT Normally Closed

The Schneider Electric VK-7263-203-4-2 is a complete pneumatic steam valve assembly designed for precise control of water and saturated steam in commercial HVAC and building automation systems. This pre-assembled unit combines a VB-7263-0-4-02 two-way globe valve body with an MK-2690 pneumatic actuator, providing reliable proportional control in heating and air conditioning applications.

Valve Body Specifications:

• 1/2 inch NPT threaded connections for straightforward installation
• Two-way globe valve design with linear flow characteristics
• Stem up closed (normally closed) configuration for fail-safe operation
• Bronze body construction with stainless steel trim for durability and corrosion resistance
• 1.3 Cv flow coefficient for accurate flow control
• Rated for 130 PSI close-off pressure
• Temperature range: 20°F to 340°F (-7°C to 171°C) for water or saturated steam

Pneumatic Actuator Features:

• MK-2690 pneumatic actuator with proportional control capability
• 8-13 PSIG spring range for precise modulation
• Spring return design ensures normally closed position on air failure
• 1/8 inch NPT air connection for simple integration
• Linear actuator movement for consistent valve positioning
• NEMA 1 protection rating for indoor applications
• AV-7400 linkage included for proper valve stem connection

This complete valve assembly is ideal for steam heating systems, hot water applications, and building automation projects where reliable, proportional flow control is essential. The normally closed configuration provides safety by automatically shutting off flow in the event of air supply loss.
