Reznor 84853 Natural Gas Burner Orifice #47

The Reznor 84853 is a factory-specified natural gas burner orifice with a #47 drill size, designed for use in Reznor gas-fired heating equipment. This precision-engineered component controls gas flow to the burner assembly, ensuring proper combustion and optimal heating performance.

Key Features:

• #47 drill size orifice for accurate gas metering
• Designed specifically for natural gas applications at 0-2000 feet elevation
• Factory-specified replacement part for Reznor unit heaters and furnaces
• Used in various Reznor heating system models including FE and F series
• Precision-drilled to maintain proper fuel-to-air ratio
• Essential component for gas conversion kits and maintenance

This burner orifice is a critical component that must be properly sized for your specific application. According to Reznor specifications, burner orifices should never be modified or drilled in the field—always use factory-supplied orifices to ensure safe operation and maintain proper heating efficiency. When performing gas conversions or replacing worn components, selecting the correct orifice size is essential for achieving the proper manifold pressure and BTU input specified on your unit's rating plate.

Note: This orifice is intended for natural gas applications at standard elevations (0-2000 feet). High-altitude installations require different orifice sizing. Consult your unit's installation manual or parts diagram to confirm compatibility with your specific Reznor model.
