The Asco 8030G16 is a 2-way, normally closed, direct-acting solenoid valve from the ASCO Red-Hat 8030 Series of low pressure valves. It has a brass body and 1/2" NPT pipe connections. It is used to control air, gas and water in low pressure systems. It is also called a Red Hat solenoid valve or an electric shut-off valve.
