Schneider Electric MS41-6083 SmartX Non-Spring Return Damper Actuator 24VAC 88 lb-in 0-10VDC

The Schneider Electric MS41-6083 is a direct-coupled, non-spring return rotary electric SmartX actuator designed for modulating control of HVAC dampers in commercial and industrial applications. This proportional control actuator accepts 0-10 VDC control signals from DDC systems or thermostats, making it ideal for constant or variable air volume installations.

Key Features:

• 88 lb-in (10 Nm) output torque for demanding damper applications
• 24 VAC power supply with proportional 0-10 VDC control input (100kΩ resistance)
• 90-degree angle of rotation (maximum 95°), field adjustable on both ends
• Compact, lightweight design with manual override capability
• Self-adapting capability for maximum flexibility in damper positioning
• 125-second timing at 60 Hz (150 seconds at 50 Hz)
• Holds position during power failure; returns to zero position on control signal loss
• Adjustable position indicator pointer for visual feedback
• Fits 1/2-inch diameter damper shafts (3/8-inch adapter included)
• cUL and UL listed

Operation:

• Operating temperature range: -25°F to 130°F (-32°C to 55°C)
• Optional offset and slope adjustment models available
• Optional independently adjustable dual auxiliary switches available
• Factory preset 5-degree preload

This actuator is engineered for precise airflow control in air handling units, VAV systems, and fan coil units, providing reliable performance and energy-efficient operation.
