Schneider Electric MS41-6043 Non-Spring Return Damper Actuator 24VAC 0-10VDC

The Schneider Electric MS41-6043 is a direct-coupled 24 VAC non-spring return rotary electric SmartX actuator designed for modulating control of HVAC dampers. This actuator is ideal for constant or variable air volume installations requiring up to 44 lb-in (5 Nm) torque. It accepts 0-10 VDC proportional control signals from DDC systems or thermostats for precise damper positioning.

Key Features:

• Compact, lightweight design with self-adapting capability for maximum flexibility in damper positioning
• 90-degree angle of rotation (maximum 95 degrees), field adjustable to limit travel on either end
• Manual override with 5-degree preload as shipped from factory
• 90-second timing at 60 Hz, 108 seconds at 50 Hz
• NEMA 2 rated enclosure for environmental protection
• 100K ohms input resistance with 0-10 VDC feedback signal capability
• Plenum-rated cable included as standard
• cUL and UL listed certification

The actuator accommodates damper shafts with a minimum length of 3/4-inch (20 mm) and includes an anti-rotation bracket for secure mounting. Operating voltage is 24 VAC +20%/-15% at 50/60 Hz with 3.3 VA power consumption and 1.2 VA holding power. In the event of power failure, the actuator holds its position; if only the control signal is lost, it returns to the zero position.
