Sporlan Controls 180918 KT-85-ZGA Thermostatic Expansion Valve Powerhead

The Sporlan Controls KT-85-ZGA is a replacement powerhead assembly designed for thermostatic expansion valves (TXVs) used in commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems. This critical component houses the sensing bulb mechanism that controls refrigerant flow based on superheat conditions at the evaporator outlet.

Key Features:

• Precision-engineered powerhead assembly for reliable superheat control
• Compatible with Sporlan KT-Series thermostatic expansion valves
• Designed for refrigeration applications requiring accurate temperature sensing
• Factory-calibrated for consistent performance and optimal system efficiency
• Durable construction for long service life in demanding environments

This powerhead assembly is a genuine Sporlan replacement component that helps maintain proper refrigerant metering and system performance. The sensing element responds to temperature changes to modulate valve opening, ensuring efficient operation and preventing compressor damage from liquid floodback or inadequate cooling from insufficient refrigerant flow.
