Sporlan Controls 149062 SORIT-PI-513S Evaporator Pressure Regulating Valve 1-5/8" ODF

The Sporlan Controls SORIT-PI-513S is an internally piloted evaporator pressure regulating (EPR) valve designed for commercial refrigeration and HVAC applications. This valve maintains evaporator pressure at a predetermined setting to prevent the evaporator from falling below desired temperature levels, ensuring optimal system performance and humidity control.

Key Features:

• 1-5/8 inch ODF (copper solder) connection size for secure installation
• Adjustable pressure range of 0 to 100 PSI for flexible system requirements
• Internally piloted design eliminates the need for high side pilot connections
• Brass body construction with extended copper connections for durability
• Manual lift stem allows for system evacuation during service
• Optional electric open feature for two-temperature control applications
• Factory tested to ensure positive leak-free performance
• Operating temperature range: -40°F to 240°F fluid temperature

The SORIT-PI series valves are ideal for maintaining minimum evaporator temperatures to avoid frost on air coils, controlling evaporator temperature in food merchandisers and multi-temperature systems, and providing improved humidity control. The valve opens on rise of inlet pressure above the set point to provide more flow capacity when evaporator load increases, and modulates closed to maintain the pressure setting when load decreases. This model is supplied without coil.
