Product Details

The Asco K3A682V is a heavy-duty 2-way normally closed (N.C.) safety shutoff gas solenoid valve designed for reliable control of natural gas and LP gas systems. This industrial-grade valve features a 1-1/2" NPT threaded connection and operates on 120V AC power, making it suitable for commercial and industrial heating applications.

Key Specifications:

  • Port size: 1-1/2 inch NPT threaded connections
  • Voltage: 120V AC
  • Configuration: 2-way, normally closed (N.C.)
  • Maximum capacity: 1,509,000 BTU at 5 PSI
  • Operating pressure: Up to 5 PSI
  • Safety shutoff design for fail-safe operation

The normally closed design ensures the valve closes automatically when power is removed, providing critical safety protection in gas control applications. Asco solenoid valves are known for their durability and reliable performance in demanding HVAC and industrial gas control systems. This valve is ideal for use with boilers, furnaces, process heaters, and other high-capacity gas-fired equipment.

Easy and fast

Finding the item was great. There were not many places that had it due to stock shortages from Onan/Cummins. The price was a lot lower than the closest company that stocked it. Ordering was easy. However, I contacted CS due to the fact that the "Tracking" link in the email did not lead me to any type of tracking. The only thing it did was go to the invoice for the order. I was kind of bugged as I was getting ready to head out of town and needed the part. I do web app design and implementation for a living. Someone needs to check the click on links to ensure they go to the proper place.

Excellent experience

I was very satisfied with the item we purchased and delivery time. The only thing I wish we could of done was add another item to our shipment before it was shipped. We I called customer service but was told that could not be done.
