Resideo by Honeywell MARD-14 14-Inch Round Modulating Automatic Damper

The Resideo by Honeywell MARD-14 is a 14-inch round modulating automatic damper equipped with a 24 VAC floating-control type motor designed for both bypass and zone damper control applications. Constructed of durable 22-gauge galvanized steel with male (crimped) and female (uncrimped) ends, this damper connects easily to any rigid or flexible round duct.

Key Features:

• Utilizes a 90-second open-to-closed motor for precise modulating control
• Power opened or closed operation suitable for zone or bypass damper applications in both light commercial and residential systems
• Ideal for light commercial applications on systems larger than 5 tons that do not exceed 2 inches water column at the damper
• Compatible with Static Pressure Control (SPC) for bypass control applications
• Can be used as a zone damper with appropriate zone control panels
• Damper body is 2 inches longer than the diameter for secure duct connection
• Replacement motor available (ML6161)

The MARD series damper provides reliable power opened/closed control and is recommended for systems larger than 2000 CFM, though it may be used in any residential system as well. The three-wire connection and floating motor design allow for smooth, precise airflow modulation to maintain balanced static pressure and optimal HVAC system performance.
