Resideo by Honeywell EARD8TZ 24V Economizer Round Damper 8 Inch Normally Closed

The Resideo by Honeywell EARD8TZ is a 24-volt motorized round ventilation damper designed for economizer and fresh air ventilation applications in residential and light commercial HVAC systems. This 8-inch diameter damper is part of the TrueZONE system and features normally closed operation, meaning it remains closed when de-energized and opens when powered.

Key Features:

• 8-inch round damper fits standard ductwork configurations
• 24VAC spring-return motorized actuator for reliable operation
• Normally closed configuration for energy-efficient economizer control
• Compatible with TrueZONE and other zoning control systems
• Durable construction designed for long-term HVAC applications
• Quick and easy installation in new or retrofit applications

This damper is ideal for controlling outdoor air intake in economizer systems, allowing fresh air to enter when outdoor conditions are favorable for cooling. The spring-return motor ensures the damper automatically closes during power loss for safety and energy conservation. The EARD8TZ integrates seamlessly with Resideo's TrueZONE panels and other compatible HVAC control systems to optimize indoor air quality and energy efficiency.
