Rheem-Ruud 62-103541-01 Hot Surface Ignitor Silicon Nitride HSI (White-Rodgers 788A-101)

The Rheem-Ruud 62-103541-01 is an OEM hot surface ignitor (HSI) constructed from advanced silicon nitride, designed to deliver fast, reliable ignition in gas-fired forced-air furnaces. Also cross-referenced as the White-Rodgers 788A-101, this is a genuine Rheem-Ruud replacement part engineered to exact factory specifications.

Silicon nitride construction provides superior thermal shock resistance, longer service life, and improved durability compared to traditional silicon carbide igniters. The ignitor heats up rapidly to produce a consistent hot surface that reliably lights the gas burner on each ignition cycle.

Key Features:

• Genuine OEM Rheem-Ruud replacement ignitor
• Silicon nitride element for extended durability and high-temperature resistance
• 5-1/2" lead wire length for flexible installation
• Fast heat-up time for dependable burner ignition
• Cross-references White-Rodgers part number 788A-101
• Designed for use in Rheem and Ruud gas furnaces, including RGFG series models

Installation Note: To prevent premature failure, handle this ignitor by the ceramic base only. Avoid any contact with the silicon nitride element — oils from skin contact can degrade the material and cause early ignitor failure.
