Belimo B216 2-Way Characterized Control Valve 1/2" Cv 16 Stainless Steel

The Belimo B216 is a 2-way characterized control valve (CCV) designed for precision hydronic control in HVAC applications. This 1/2" valve features a Cv rating of 16 and stainless steel ball and stem construction for reliable, maintenance-free operation.

Key Features:

• Cv 16 flow coefficient with equal percentage flow characteristic for precise control
• Stainless steel ball and stem with nickel-plated brass body
• 200 psi close-off pressure with 600 psi body pressure rating
• 0% leakage rate (A-AB ports) for tight shut-off
• 1/2" NPT female threaded connections
• PTFE seat and EPDM stem seal for durability
• Temperature range: 0-250°F (-18 to 120°C)
• Compatible with chilled or hot water, up to 60% glycol
• Characterized disc prevents control loop hunting and optimizes energy consumption

Ideal for air handling units, fan coil units, unit ventilators, VAV box reheat coils, and bypass loops in hydronic systems with variable flow. The characterized disc design provides comparable Cv values to globe valves of the same size while reducing the need for multiple pipe reductions. Valve body only—actuator sold separately.
