Johnson Controls VG1245FT+958BGC 2-Inch Ball Valve Assembly with Spring-Return Actuator

The Johnson Controls VG1245FT+958BGC is a complete ball valve assembly combining a Model VG1245FT two-way ball valve with a Model VA9208-BGC-3 electric actuator. This industrial-grade valve assembly is designed for automated control of water, glycol solutions, and other compatible fluids in commercial HVAC systems.

Valve Specifications:

• 2-inch NPT threaded end connections for easy installation
• Two-way ball valve design for on/off or modulating control
• Stainless steel trim construction for durability and corrosion resistance
• Flow coefficient (Cv) of 73.7 for efficient fluid handling
• Chrome-plated brass ball and stainless steel stem

Actuator Features:

• Model VA9208-BGC-3 electric spring-return actuator
• Closed spring-return operation (fails closed on power loss for safety)
• Two auxiliary switches for position indication or interlock functions
• 24 VAC power supply for standard building automation compatibility
• Direct-coupled mounting eliminates linkage complexity

This valve assembly is ideal for heating and cooling systems, chilled water applications, and general hydronic control where fail-safe closed operation is required. The spring-return actuator ensures the valve returns to the closed position during power failure, providing safety and energy conservation.
