The Resideo 272748AB is a 24-volt replacement motor designed for restoring full operation to Honeywell Home V8043 and V8044 series electric motorized zone valves. This OEM-quality motor is the direct factory-specified replacement, allowing HVAC technicians and hydronic heating professionals to service existing zone valves without replacing the entire valve assembly.

Key Features:

• 24V AC operation — compatible with standard low-voltage hydronic heating control systems
• Direct replacement for motors used in V8043 and V8044 series zone valves
• Cross-compatible — also replaces Erie, Flair, and EMC 24V zone valve motors
• Includes mounting hardware — comes with motor mounting screws and lead wire connectors for a complete installation
• Motor-only replacement — allows actuator motor swap without removing the valve body or draining the system
• International-rated — suitable for 50/60 Hz applications

Installing the 272748AB is straightforward: remove the powerhead cover, unclip the existing motor leads, swap in the new motor using the two mounting screws, and splice the new lead wires using the included solderless connectors. This repair-in-place design minimizes system downtime and eliminates the need for full valve replacement. Also sold as 272748AB/U and 272748ABP.
