Lennox 47K24 Gas Valve VR8205H2605 for Gas Furnaces

The Lennox 47K24 is an OEM replacement gas valve designed for use in Lennox, Armstrong, Ducane, and other compatible gas furnaces. This genuine Lennox part ensures reliable gas flow control and safe operation in electronic ignition heating systems.

Key Features:

• Honeywell VR8205H2605 combination gas valve with dual automatic safety shutoff
• 24 VAC low voltage control operation with 0.5A current draw
• 1/2 inch NPT inlet and outlet connections for standard installations
• 3.5 inch water column (WC) pressure regulator setting for natural gas applications
• Compatible with direct spark and hot surface ignition systems
• Includes both manual valve and two automatic operators with integrated pressure regulator

This gas valve functions as the primary control for regulating gas flow into the combustion chamber. The solenoid-operated first automatic valve opens on thermostat call for heat, while the diaphragm-operated second valve provides redundant safety shutoff if gas supply or power is interrupted. The adjustable pressure regulator ensures proper gas pressure for efficient combustion and optimal furnace performance.
