Nordyne 903600 Flame Sensor With Wiring Harness

The Nordyne 903600 is a genuine OEM replacement flame sensor assembly that includes an integrated wiring harness for convenient installation. This critical safety component is designed to detect the presence of flame in gas furnaces, ensuring safe and reliable operation by confirming ignition before allowing gas flow to continue.

Key Features:

• Genuine Nordyne OEM part for guaranteed fit and performance
• Pre-attached wiring harness eliminates the need for separate connector replacement
• High-quality flame rod construction for accurate flame detection
• Direct replacement for worn or failed flame sensors
• Helps prevent lockout conditions caused by flame sensing issues

The flame sensor works by detecting the electrical current produced when gas combusts, sending a signal to the furnace control board to keep the gas valve open. Over time, flame sensors can become coated with carbon buildup or oxidation, leading to intermittent operation or complete furnace shutdown. This complete assembly with harness simplifies the replacement process and ensures reliable furnace operation.
