Belimo AFRB24-S in-lb Spring Return Damper Actuator On/Off - 270 24V

The Belimo AFRB24-S is a heavy-duty spring return damper actuator designed for HVAC zone control and smoke/fire damper applications. This 24V actuator delivers 270 in-lb (30 Nm) of torque, making it suitable for controlling medium to large commercial dampers with reliable on/off positioning control.

Key Features:

• 270 in-lb (30 Nm) spring return torque for positive damper positioning
• 24V AC/DC power supply for flexible installation
• On/Off control with auxiliary switches for position feedback
• Spring return to safety position on power failure for life safety applications
• Robust metal gear train for long service life
• 90-second nominal running time for full stroke
• Manual override for commissioning and maintenance
• Wide operating temperature range: -22°F to 122°F (-30°C to 50°C)

This actuator features Belimo's proven Swiss engineering with auxiliary switches that provide end position feedback for integration with building automation systems. The spring return mechanism ensures fail-safe operation, automatically returning the damper to its normal position during power loss—critical for smoke control and fire damper applications. The compact design and universal mounting bracket allow for easy installation on both new construction and retrofit projects.
