The Rheem-Ruud AP14317U-1 Pilot Tube Assembly is a genuine OEM replacement component designed for natural gas (NG) water heaters and heating appliances manufactured by Rheem and Ruud. This assembly delivers the precise gas flow needed to maintain a reliable standing pilot flame, ensuring consistent ignition and safe burner operation.

Pilot tube assemblies are a critical part of the gas control and ignition system. When the original pilot tube becomes clogged, corroded, or damaged, the pilot flame may fail to stay lit, resulting in no hot water or heat.
