Rheem-Ruud RXCT-CHC Expansion Valve Kit TXV OEM Replacement - R-22

The Rheem-Ruud RXCT-CHC Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) Kit is a genuine OEM replacement part designed to precisely regulate refrigerant flow in residential HVAC split systems. As a critical metering component, the TXV controls the amount of refrigerant entering the evaporator coil, ensuring the system operates at peak efficiency and capacity.

Key Features:

• Genuine OEM Rheem-Ruud replacement part — factory-packaged and built to original equipment specifications
• Compatible with R-22 refrigerant systems rated for 2.5 to 3 tons of cooling capacity
• Maintains constant superheat to prevent refrigerant floodback to the compressor, protecting compressor longevity
• Automatically modulates refrigerant flow in response to changing load conditions for consistent temperature control
• Replaces a fixed orifice metering device, allowing the outdoor unit to respond more quickly and precisely to varying conditions
• Helps improve overall system energy efficiency and reliability

This TXV kit is a direct OEM replacement for select Rheem and Ruud air conditioning and heat pump systems. Installing a properly matched expansion valve reduces compressor wear, lowers energy consumption, and delivers more stable comfort performance. Always verify compatibility with your specific model number before installation.
