Belimo AFRB24-SR Spring Return Valve Actuator 180 in-lb 24V Modulating Control

The Belimo AFRB24-SR is a professional-grade spring return valve actuator designed for fail-safe, modulating control of ball valves in HVAC water systems. This compact actuator delivers 180 in-lb (20 Nm) of torque with a 90-degree angle of rotation, making it ideal for both hot and chilled water applications in commercial building automation systems.

Key Features:

• Spring return fail-safe operation with rapid failsafe time under 20 seconds
• AC/DC 24V power supply with 2-10 VDC modulating control signal
• Includes 2-10 VDC position feedback signal for real-time monitoring
• 95-second motor running time for precise proportional control
• Compatible with 4-20 mA control input using optional 500Ω resistor
• IP54/NEMA 2/UL Enclosure Type 2 protection rating
• Low power consumption: 3W holding, 5W running
• Microprocessor-controlled with ASIC technology for constant rotation rate
• Digital rotation sensing prevents actuator damage in stall conditions
• Cable connection with wire leads

This actuator is compatible with Belimo B2 and B3 series ball valves for two-position, floating, or proportional control applications. The AFRB24-SR features intelligent electronics that eliminate the need for mechanical end switches and allow the actuator to safely stall anywhere in its rotation. Backed by Belimo's 5-year warranty and engineered for reliable long-term performance in demanding commercial HVAC environments.
