Honeywell 50024585-001 1/4" NPT Brass Pigtail Siphon Loop for Steam Traps

The Honeywell 50024585-001 is a brass pigtail siphon loop designed to protect pressure controls and other instrumentation from direct steam contact in heating and industrial applications. This component creates a water seal that prevents live steam from reaching sensitive control devices while maintaining accurate pressure sensing.

Key Features:

• 1/4" NPT threaded connections for standard pipe fitting compatibility
• Durable brass construction for corrosion resistance and long service life
• Pigtail loop design creates condensate trap to protect controls from steam damage
• Compatible with Honeywell L404, L408, L604, L91 pressure controls and P7810AB pressuretrol
• Essential safety component for steam boiler control systems

This siphon loop is a critical accessory for proper installation of steam pressure controls, ensuring reliable operation and extending the life of control devices by preventing exposure to high-temperature steam. The brass construction provides excellent thermal conductivity to facilitate condensate formation while resisting corrosion in steam environments.
