The reversing valve is a critical component in heat pump systems, responsible for switching refrigerant flow direction to enable both heating and cooling operation. This valve body requires a separate 24V solenoid coil (sold separately) to complete the assembly. Professional installation by a qualified HVAC technician is recommended to ensure proper brazing, system evacuation, and refrigerant charging.
