Belimo AFB24-MFT 180 in-lb Spring Return Damper Actuator 24V MFT Programmable

The Belimo AFB24-MFT is a professional-grade damper actuator delivering 180 in-lb (20 Nm) of torque with spring return fail-safe operation for HVAC systems. This direct-coupled actuator eliminates the need for crank arms and linkages in most applications, providing reliable modulating control of dampers and valves.

• Accepts 2-10 VDC control signal or 4-20 mA with optional 500Ω resistor
• Universal power supply: 24 VAC ±20% (50/60Hz) or 24 VDC +20%/-10%
• Fits shaft diameters from 1/2" to 1.05" round, centers on 1/2" and 3/4" with insert
• Brushless DC motor controlled by microprocessor with Digital Rotation Sensing (DRS) for constant rotation rate and precise position control
• Provides 2-10 VDC feedback signal for position indication and master-slave applications
• Operating temperature range: -22°F to 122°F (-30°C to 50°C) with maintenance-free operation

Designed for fail-safe, modulating control of dampers in HVAC systems with actuator sizing done in accordance with damper manufacturer specifications. Two AFB actuators can be piggybacked on a minimum 3/4" diameter shaft for torque loads up to 360 in-lb. Features UL 2043 compliance and is suitable for use in air plenums per Section 300.22(C) of the NEC.

This actuator replaces the AF24-MFT model and is compatible with Belimo's MFT programming tools for custom configuration of run time, rotation direction, input signals, and feedback parameters.
