Johnson Controls VG12A5GU+92NBGA 2-1/2" 2-Way Flanged Ball Valve Assembly 117 Cv Spring Return 24V

The Johnson Controls VG12A5GU+92NBGA is a 2-1/2 inch, 117 Cv two-way flanged ball valve assembly from the VG1000 Series. This valve is primarily designed to regulate the flow of hot water, chilled water, and 50/50 glycol solutions to the demand of a controller in HVAC systems. The complete assembly includes a factory-mounted M9220-BGA-3 spring return actuator configured for 24V on/off control.

Key Features:

• ASME Class 150 flanged valve with stainless steel trim construction
• Spring return configuration - valve open (normally open) operation
• 117 Cv flow coefficient with 100 PSIG closeoff rating
• 24V AC/DC on/off control without auxiliary switches
• Provides tight shutoff and accurate control under all load conditions
• Factory-assembled design reduces field installation time and cost

This valve assembly is ideal for two-position flow control applications in commercial HVAC systems. The valve should be mounted downstream from the coil to minimize heat transfer to the actuator. The spring return actuator ensures fail-safe operation by returning the valve to the open position upon power loss.
