Asco 8215B60 Solenoid Gas Valve 1-1/4" NPT Normally Closed 120V

The Asco 8215B60 is a 2-way normally closed pilot-operated solenoid valve designed for air-fuel gas shutoff applications. This industrial-grade valve features a 1-1/4" NPT connection with a 1-5/8" orifice and operates on 120VAC power with a flow coefficient of 32 Cv, capable of handling up to 1,730,000 BTU/hr. Part of the Series 8215 line, these valves are 2-way internal pilot-operated solenoid valves designed to handle liquified petroleum gases (propane) in both liquid and gaseous states, with valve bodies made of rugged aluminum and trim and internal parts made of steel and stainless steel.

Key Features:

• Pressure range: 0-25 PSI
• Aluminum body with NBR seals and NBR disc
• NEMA 1 enclosure (additional NEMA ratings available)
• Stainless steel internal components including 305 stainless steel core tube, 430F stainless steel core and plug nut, and 302 stainless steel springs
• Coil insulation class F, B rated
• Pilot operated construction works from zero pressure differential with resilient soft seating for tight shutoff
• UL approved as safety shutoff valves, ideal for low pressure applications

The ASCO 215 Series is ideal for vacuum service, oxygen service, heating equipment applications, and long-life applications. Standard RedHat II enclosure is watertight and rated for Types 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, and 4X environments, with optional explosionproof and watertight configurations available for Types 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 7, and 9.
