Asco 8044A5CSA 2 Inch Manual Reset Gas Shutoff Solenoid Valve 0-20 PSI

The Asco 8044A5CSA is a 2-inch manual reset gas safety shutoff solenoid valve designed for low-pressure fuel gas applications in heating equipment. This 2-way normally closed valve provides reliable safety control for gas-fired systems including boilers, furnaces, and burners.

Key Features:

• 2-inch NPT threaded connections for optimal flow capacity
• Normally closed operation - trips closed instantly when de-energized
• Manual reset design requires manual intervention after a trip event for safety compliance
• Free handle construction prevents accidental reactivation without power restoration
• Operating pressure range: 0-20 PSI for low-pressure gas systems
• Aluminum body construction with NBR seals for durability
• NEMA 1 enclosure rating for general purpose applications
• Rapid response time: opens and closes in less than 1 second
• 55 Cv flow coefficient for high-demand applications

The manual reset feature ensures that the valve cannot automatically reopen after a safety shutdown, requiring operator intervention to restore gas flow. The visible reset handle provides clear operational status indication. Designed specifically for fuel gas service in safety-critical applications where strict restart protocols are required after power loss or system faults.
