Danfoss 120Z0360 Surface Sump Heater with Bottom Insulation 56W 24V

The Danfoss 120Z0360 surface sump heater (also called a compressor crankcase heater or oil sump heater) is an externally wrapped heater that comes with bottom insulation. It keeps the oil in a compressor sump warm during standby and cold starts. Warm oil helps limit refrigerant migration into the oil and supports reliable lubrication at startup.

Key Features:

• 56 W heater output at 24 V
• Surface-mount design wraps around the outside of the compressor sump
• Bottom insulation included, which directs heat into the compressor shell and reduces heat loss
• Helps reduce the risk of liquid slugging and oil dilution on startup
• Approvals: CE, UKCA and UL
• Part of the Danfoss compressor accessories line, used with Danfoss scroll compressor series such as SH, SM, SZ, SY, VSH and VZH

Use this heater to protect compressor oil quality and extend compressor life in refrigeration and HVAC systems that run in low ambient temperatures. Danfoss lists this part for 24 V supply only.
