Rheem-Ruud 43-25135-20 Dual Run Capacitor 40/3/440 Oval

The Rheem-Ruud 43-25135-20 is a genuine OEM dual run capacitor designed for HVAC systems. This oval-shaped capacitor features dual ratings of 40 MFD and 3 MFD at 440 VAC, making it ideal for simultaneously powering both the compressor and fan motor in air conditioning and heat pump systems.

Key Specifications:

• Dual capacitance ratings: 40 microfarads (compressor) and 3 microfarads (fan motor)
• Voltage rating: 440 VAC
• Oval metal housing for space-efficient installation
• Three-terminal configuration (C, HERM, FAN)
• Temperature rated for HVAC applications
• Genuine Rheem-Ruud OEM replacement part

Application:

This dual run capacitor is engineered to provide reliable starting and running performance for residential and light commercial HVAC equipment. The 40/3 MFD combination is commonly used in mid-sized air conditioning systems and heat pumps, where the larger 40 MFD section supports the compressor motor while the 3 MFD section handles the condenser fan motor. The oval design allows for compact mounting in tight spaces within condensing units.

Always verify capacitor specifications match your equipment requirements before installation. Proper discharge procedures and safety precautions should be followed when replacing capacitors.
