Trane SEN0432 Mercury Flame Sensor 48" 3-Pin Plug-In

The Trane SEN0432 is a mercury flame sensor designed for residential and commercial gas heating systems. This genuine OEM sensor detects the presence of a pilot flame and controls the main gas valve in automatic ignition systems, ensuring safe and reliable furnace operation.

Key Features:

• 48-inch capillary lead wire for flexible placement and installation
• 3-pin plug-in connection for quick, secure installation without point-to-point wiring
• Mercury-filled sensing bulb technology for accurate flame detection
• Universal bulb design compatible with various Trane HVAC applications
• Snap-action switch mechanism actuated by pilot flame heat
• High-temperature capability up to 1450°F at bulb tip

This auto pilot sensor features a mercury-filled sensing bulb, capillary tube, and diaphragm assembly mounted on a switch mechanism. When the pilot flame heats the sensing bulb, mercury vapor actuates the snap-action switch, which is wired in series with the main valve relay. The 3-pin plug-in design eliminates complicated wiring and speeds up installation or replacement. Ideal for Trane furnaces and heating equipment requiring reliable flame proving and pilot control.
