Carrier KAACH1501AAA Crankcase Heater 480V Compressor Accessory

The Carrier KAACH1501AAA is a 480-volt crankcase heater designed for use with Carrier commercial refrigeration and HVAC compressors. Crankcase heaters are essential compressor protection accessories that warm the compressor oil sump during off-cycles, preventing refrigerant migration into the crankcase oil. This helps ensure reliable startup, extends compressor life, and protects system efficiency — especially in low-ambient or cold-weather installations.

Key Features:

• Genuine Carrier OEM replacement crankcase heater
• Operating Voltage: 480V
• Designed to prevent refrigerant-oil dilution during compressor off cycles
• Protects compressor bearings and internal components at startup
• Reduces the risk of liquid slugging and compressor damage
• Direct OEM fit for compatible Carrier equipment — no modification required
• Built to Carrier quality and reliability standards

Crankcase heaters are a critical component in any system where compressors may be exposed to low ambient temperatures or extended off periods. Installing or replacing the crankcase heater with a genuine Carrier part ensures proper wattage output and fitment for your specific equipment. Always verify compressor model compatibility before installation.
