Johnson Controls VG7842NT+822E01 Three-Way Mixing Globe Valve with Pneumatic Actuator and Positioner

The Johnson Controls VG7842NT+822E01 is a professional-grade three-way mixing globe valve assembly designed for precise control of water or glycol solutions in commercial HVAC systems. This 1-inch NPT valve comes factory-assembled with a pneumatic actuator and positioner for accurate modulating control.

Key Specifications:

• Valve body size: 1 inch with NPT threaded end connections
• Configuration: Three-way mixing valve for blending hot and cold fluids
• Flow coefficient (Cv): 11.6 for optimal flow capacity
• Pneumatic actuator with 9-13 psig operating pressure range
• Integrated positioner for precise modulating control and feedback
• Close-off rating: 50 psig (3.4 bar) for tight shutoff
• Temperature rating: Up to 250°F (121°C)

Applications:

• Hot water heating systems with mixing control
• Chilled water distribution systems
• Air handling unit coil control
• Radiant heating and cooling applications
• Building automation and energy management systems

The three-way mixing configuration allows for constant flow through the valve while proportionally mixing flow from two inlet ports to one outlet port, maintaining system circulation while controlling temperature. The pneumatic actuator responds to control signals from building automation systems, while the built-in positioner ensures accurate valve positioning and provides feedback for closed-loop control.
