Honeywell 14026 1/4" Cast Iron Steam Trap Syphon Loop

The Honeywell 14026 is a 1/4" cast iron syphon loop designed specifically for use with Honeywell steam pressure controls. This essential piping component creates a water seal that protects pressure controls from direct exposure to steam, preventing damage and ensuring accurate pressure sensing.

Key Features:

• 1/4" NPT female connections for easy installation
• Durable cast iron construction for long-lasting performance in high-temperature applications
• Compatible with Honeywell L404, L604, and L4079 pressure controls
• Creates a condensate trap that isolates controls from live steam
• Prevents thermal shock and extends control life

The syphon loop is an essential safety component in steam boiler installations, allowing condensed water to fill the pigtail and protect sensitive pressure-sensing elements. This design ensures that only water pressure—not direct steam—reaches the control, providing accurate readings and reliable operation. The cast iron construction withstands the demanding conditions of commercial and industrial steam systems.
