Johnson Controls VG7842ET+74CHGA NPT Globe Valve with Electric Actuator - 1/2 3-Way

The Johnson Controls VG7842ET+74CHGA is a professional-grade 3-way globe valve assembly designed for hydronic HVAC applications requiring precise flow control and modulation. This valve combines the VG7842ET brass body with the VA7830-HGA-2 electric spring return actuator for reliable mixing or diverting service.

Key Specifications:

• 1/2" NPT threaded end connections for easy installation
• 3-way configuration for mixing or diverting applications
• 1.8 Cv (flow coefficient) for accurate flow sizing
• Spring return actuator for fail-safe operation (stem down on power loss)
• VA7830-HGA-2 electric actuator without auxiliary switch
• Brass valve body construction for durability and corrosion resistance
• Stem down configuration

Applications:

• Hot water and chilled water systems
• Mixing and diverting valve applications
• Terminal unit control
• Boiler and heat exchanger control
• Commercial HVAC zoning systems

The spring return design ensures the valve returns to a safe position during power failure, making it ideal for critical applications where fail-safe operation is required. The compact actuator design allows for installation in tight spaces while providing reliable modulating control.
